In Ethiopia, coffee producers face many problems related to the low standards of family life,
the individual development of agricultural activity and the sustainable use of natural
resources.
In addition to that, there is an inefficiency of the market and a shortage of
storage methods at their disposal.
The Lavazza Foundation supports a project that uses the Farmer Field School approach, an experiential methodology that allows farmers to understand how to improve coffee production and quality in a sustainable way.
It also supports farmers' organisations in order to improve their access to services and to the market.
