Victory

Andre Agassi had never fully experienced the thrill of victory. Not until the 6th of June, 1999. That time was different, as he tells in his autobiography, Open: he lets the racket, and the tension, drop, releasing an unexpected and unrestrained joy.

The glance he gave his trainer, immediately after the match, is iconic. A victory he always pursued, and finally conquered eight years after the last disputed final on red clay. The 1999 Roland-Garros edition was his, Andre retraces it together with Lavazza, discovering the places where, eighteen years ago, he climbed the Olympus of tennis.
