The Lavazza industrial system is divided into six manufacturing plants: three are based in Italy, one in France, one in India and one in Brazil. The products made in Italian sites are intended for the international market, while those from foreign sites are for the local market.

Roasting and packaging of grain and ground products (roast & ground). Turin is one of the largest and most modern plants in the world for coffee roasting and production. Each phase of the process is automated and controlled by a computer system.

Where automatic distribution was born
The capsules for Lavazza Espresso Point, Lavazza BLUE and Lavazza A Modo Mio systems are made in Gattinara. The company has recently undertaken important investments to increase production activity and for the technological upgrade of the plant.

From Italy, the DEK for the whole world
Founded in 1991, the Pozzilli manufacturing plant is dedicated to the decaffeination of green coffee through a natural method using carbon dioxide, a compound found in the air we breathe and in the sparkling water we drink.

On the French market with Carte Noire
In 2016, Lavazza integrated the French manufacturing plant in Lavérune, in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, into its own industrial structure. In this way it placed itself in one of the world’s top five coffee markets, which today is the second in order of importance for the company.

Products for the local vending market
In 2007, Lavazza opened the group’s ninth subsidiary in India. The Indian manufacturing plant in Sri City, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, covers the needs of the local vending market and provides for the production of coffee for the internal market.

From Bemposta, coffee for Brazil
In 2008, Lavazza acquired the two companies Café Grão Nobre and Café Terra Brasil. The Brazilian roasting manufacturing plant in the resort of Tres Rios, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, serves the local food service channel.
